বাংলাদেশ বুঝল চীন-জাপান এক না

কালো মেঘের চাদরে ঢেকে যাওয়া মাওলানা ভাসানী স্টেডিয়ামের আকাশে অন্ধকারের রাজত্ব। কখনো ঝিরিঝিরি ছন্দে আবার কখনো ঝুম তালে বৃষ্টি নামছে। এমন বিরূপ প্রকৃতিকে সঙ্গে নিয়েও জাপানের সঙ্গে পারল না বাংলাদেশ। শেষ পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশের জালে চার গোল দিয়ে থেমেছে ‘সূর্যোদয়ের দেশ’টি। ঘরের মাঠে ৪-০ গোলের এই হারে ষষ্ঠ স্থান নিয়ে শেষ হলো বাংলাদেশের এশিয়া কাপ। আগের টুর্নামেন্টে বাংলাদেশের অবস্থান ছিল সপ্তম।

বিশ্ব হকি র‌্যাঙ্কিংয়ে জাপানের অবস্থান ১৭, বাংলাদেশ ৩৪তম। লড়াইটা তাই অসম শক্তির হলেও জাপানকে হারানোর স্বপ্ন দেখেছিলেন জিমিরা। আগের ম্যাচে চীনকে হারিয়ে সেই আত্মবিশ্বাসের টোটকাও কুড়িয়ে নিয়েছিল দল। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ আজ বুঝল, জাপান ‌‘চীন’ নয়।
চীনের বিপক্ষে নাটকীয় জয়ের পর জাপানের বিপক্ষে মাঠে নামার আগে ২০ ঘণ্টা বিশ্রামও পায়নি বাংলাদেশ। সেখানে জাপান পেয়েছে প্রায় ৪০ ঘণ্টার বেশি সময়। জাপানিজরা হয়তো মাথার মধ্যে এই অঙ্ক কষেই মাঠে নেমেছিল। তাই শুরুতে রয়ে সয়ে খেললেও শেষ ১৫ মিনিটে শুরু হয় গোল উৎসব। এই ১৫ মিনিটে বাংলাদেশের জালে তিন গোল করেছে জাপান, যেখানে প্রথম ১৫ মিনিটে তাঁরা এগিয়ে ছিল ১-০ ব্যবধানে।
ম্যাচের ১৭ মিনিটে এগিয়ে যায় জাপান। পেনাল্টি কর্নার থেকে ইয়ামাদা স্রোডার প্রথম প্রচেষ্টায় গোল করতে ব্যর্থ হলেও দ্বিতীয় প্রচেষ্টায় হিটে বল আছড়ে ফেলেন বোর্ডে। আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার হলো, বাংলাদেশের রক্ষণভাগ এ সময় তাঁকে কোনো রকম বাধা দেয়নি! জাপানের ‘হাই প্রেসিং’ খেলার সামনে শেষ ১৫ মিনিটের আগ পর্যন্ত সমানতালেই লড়েছে জিমিরা। কিন্তু কার্যকর হকি বলতে যা বোঝায়, সেটা তাঁরা দেখাতে পারেননি। মাঝমাঠে বল দখলে রাখলেও জাপানিজদের জমাট রক্ষণ ভেঙে শুটিং সার্কেলে গিয়ে জিমিরা দাপট দেখাতে পারেননি।
ম্যাচের শেষ ১৫ মিনিটে জাপানের আধিপত্য ছিল একচ্ছত্র। ৮ মিনিটের ব্যবধানে তিনটি ফিল্ড গোল আদায় করে নেয় তারা। ৪৬ মিনিটে কিনজি কিতাজাতো দ্বিতীয় গোল করেন। এর ৩ মিনিট পর কাজুমা মুরাতা এবং ৫৩ মিনিটে সেরেন তানাকার কাছ থেকে আরও দুটি গোল পায় জাপান। ম্যাচের শেষের দিকে অবশ্য ‘পেনাল্টি কর্নার’ পেয়েছিল বাংলাদেশ। কিন্তু গোল করতে পারেননি বাংলাদেশের ‘পেনাল্টি কর্নার’ বিশেষজ্ঞ মামুনুর রহমান চয়ন।
গ্রুপ পর্বে এই জাপানের কাছেই ৩-১ গোলে হেরেছিল বাংলাদেশ। পাঁচ দিনের ব্যবধানে বাড়ল হারের ব্যবধান। পুরো টুর্নামেন্টে মোট পাঁচ ম্যাচে বাংলাদেশ গোল হজম করেছে ২৪টি। গ্রুপ পর্বে শুধু পাকিস্তান ও ভারতের বিপক্ষে দুই ম্যাচেই হজম করেছে ১৪ গোল। ম্যাচপ্রতি ৭টি করে!
এবারের আসরে সান্ত্বনা পুরস্কার বলে যদি কিছু থেকে থাকে, সেটা বাংলাদেশের অবস্থানের উন্নতি। আগের আসরে সাতে ছিল বাংলাদেশ। এবার একধাপ উন্নতি ঘটিয়ে ছয়ে। এর আগে ১৯৮২ সালে পঞ্চম, ১৯৮৫ সালে ষষ্ঠ, ১৯৮৯ সালে সপ্তম, ১৯৯৩ সালে ষষ্ঠ, ১৯৯৯ সালে ষষ্ঠ, ২০০৩ সালে অষ্টম এবং ২০০৭ সালে সপ্তম হয়েছিল বাংলাদেশ।
